the NEW YORK series
In 2007 Noah Valentyn moved to New York to educate himself as independent photographer. Being a storyteller as an actor he felt as much ambition to tell his stories individually as an artist. The strongest way to share a feeling or tell a story is to capture it in one frame, a photo.
He did his stage at Andy Warhols ‘ Interview Magazine’ and later with James Bidgood. Bidgood can be seen as the inspirator for artist like Pierre & Gilles and David Lachapelle.
Also Noahs work was sold by interior architects and their clients.
First his subject were mainly still life and urban life. Later Noah started to shoot models and people too. In this way he was more able to tell and share his thoughts in the stories he wanted to tell.
